Sacred Feminine
For many years, I’ve facilitated programs, circles, and ceremonies for women. In these events, we share, sing, dance, rest, grieve, and heal. We explore our shame, fear, power, and longing. We exhume our stories and voices from the shadows.
Much of my women’s work revolves around ritual forgiveness journeys that I’ve created for specific purposes: self-love and the inner child, ancestral healing, forgiving the body, and more. I believe that when women come together in a safe space, we can enter the dark well of our collective female pain body, and reemerge with more wisdom and strength.
At a time when old patriarchal structures are failing and our ecosystem is on the brink of collapse, we need new stories, new archetypes, and new leadership. We need to listen to women of all backgrounds and identities. And we need to reclaim the sacred feminine, which knows that beauty and holiness are woven into the fabric of this world. Of course the “feminine” is not exclusive to women—it’s beyond gender. However, there’s something unique about spending time in a community of women and exploring our essential nature.*
My teacher Amma speaks about the "awakening of universal motherhood" and the need to cultivate the more feminine qualities of love, patience, and forbearance in both women and men. She says that love is the medicine that will heal the wounds of the world. As we awaken the feminine qualities of compassion, receptivity, tenderness, and unity, we help nurture a world that’s more respectful, loving, and just for all.

WE MUST RECOGNIZE OURSELVES AT LAST.
WE ARE A RAINFOREST OF COLOR AND NOISE.
WE HEAR EVERYTHING.
WE ARE UNAFRAID.
OUR LANGUAGE IS BEAUTIFUL.
